The Box in The Park is about two friends walking in a park, and they discover a strange small wooden box buried under the mulch, and strange things start happening...
It was filmed in a day and a half and finished on the third day. we were entering in TSA for it and did not expect to place for the video, but rather our video-game Bunkered Up. The film ironically enough did better than our game, oops...
The shot of the balloon inflating by itself was done in reverse, if you have a keen eye you can notice that there is a car going backwards at one point...
The original idea was to have some sort of creepy doll come out of the balloon, but we could not find one in time, so I went back to my house and got the "spookiest" one I could fine, which was the character Lorelei Undertaker from the cancelled videogame Showdown Bandit, which was created by the bendy and the ink machine developers.
The last day of shooting for the film was to find a way to incorporate a green screen in, it was too windy to set it up in the park, and we started driving around for places to set it up at. we went to dairy queen and set it up there just because we were stopping by to let Gavin Lowhorn see his girlfriend.
