The game was coded in scratch 3.0, the art programs used were Photoshop  and Ibis Paint X, all 3D models were made in Blender 3.4.1. Some assets  were made in the scratch sprite editor. All sound effects and music were  made in Signal’s Midi Editor and Scratch audio library.

Inspirations

  • The game was thought up from the idea of choosing people to let into a bunker, mixed with things like Mario Party and Five Nights at Freddy’s for it's gameplay.
  • PSX games were a theme for it's 3D art style with their pre-rendered and aged look and feel.
  • It was done for the purpose of making the bunker feel different from everything else outside of it.

Reception, Post Bunker

It got 3rd place in regional for Video Game Design, and scored rather poorly with the judges, but it was well received with audiences and fellow peers.

Once we got to the state level, we did not make it to the finals, but we are grateful for the opportunity to work together and create a game in class :)

We have plenty of ideas on how to improve on the formula for the game, and would be interested in expanding on them in the future!
