History

Since elementary school, our friend group have had an interest in media, either be it in artistic outlets, or in memes we would create with editing images of each other. We have liked doing media related things for a long time. 

Some of us did the middle school news and got taught the very basics of video production. So when we got to high school and heard about there being a whole class dedicated to media, we all signed up for it.

Since then, we have competed in TSA, and have made a few short films.

During the Foothills Festival in Mid October in 2023, the idea of documenting shenanigans that we get up to was conceived, and the title of Media Misadventures was created in a Dairy Queen for this era of the media class.

The main idea would to be to film some behind the scenes footage of what we are creating, and some other little things we get into like outings or things we find entertaining. 

The reason to do this was to just have something to look back on in the future, or to give us the ability to sharpen our content creation skills.

The Media Misadventures website was bought by Kaeden on 10/08/23 as a joke while the class was being supervised by a staff member. We showed the website to the tech department, and they unblocked it on the school's Chromebooks.

We waited a few periods to show our media teacher, and he liked the idea of a website so much, that he allows us to work on it during the programming class we all share with him to further expand on the site. 

So this website went from a joke, to a fully fledged portfolio for our media class in a single day!
